Project Abstract
CAMLE is a part of our research agenda with the goal of developing a new
software development method that is suitable to internet and web based
computing and extends the object-oriented software development paradigm.
The project is based on the foundation of a caste-centric meta-model,
which is also called conceptual model, of information systems from a
multi-agent system point of view. It is closely related to the following
projects:
- SLABS project, where SLABS stands for a Specification Language
for Agent-Based Systems.
- SLABSp, which is studies the design and implementation of a
programming language based on the caste-centric meta-model of multi-agent
systems.
The project consists of three main parts:
- The design of a modeling language;
- The design and implementation of a modeling environment and a
set of modeling tools;
- The investigation of model-driven development of internet/web
based computer applications, such as Grid, peer-topeer, web
services, etc., using the modeling language and tools.
